TOYOTETSU AMERICA, INC. 2005 WELDING ADDITION

Toyotetsu America, Inc., a supplier of stamped steel parts and welded assemblies to Toyota was challenged with strong orders for the current model year and having to produce pre-production parts and ramp up production for the new model year. The need for 43,000 square feet of additional welding and assembly space was identified, specified and awarded to Bristol in March of 2005. By August, Toyotetsu, a subsidiary of Toyoda Iron Works of Japan, began installing equipment to meet the demand.

Toyotetsu realized no impact during the shut down and start up of the new cooling tower and pit. In addition, a new employee break room and bathroom group was constructed simultaneously. Bristol Group was able to provide a seamless transition from the old break and bathroom areas to the new.
