This project included the 56 ft. high structure and foundation required to accommodate a 4,000 ton transfer press.  Significant savings were achieved by “jacking” a 13,000 s.f. portion of  the existing roof from an elevation of 30 ft. to 56 ft. with minimal disruption of ongoing operations.  This unique operation was accomplished in one week.

Bristol Group was responsible for the design and construction of the complex press foundation, the installation of (2) bridge crane structures for handling 25 ton coils and stamping dies and the “high-bay” enclosure.

Project involved close coordination of owner’s equipment requirements and “value engineering” to get the project within budget.  Total design and construction time was less than 6 months.
