 TURNER BUSINESS CENTER NORTH

This upscale business/warehouse & distribution center was constructed using site cast tilt-up concrete panels.  “Tilt-up” was selected for its speed of construction, substantial appearance and low maintenance.  Covered storefronts combined with generous storage areas were designed to accommodate both wholesale and retail operations.

A narrow site required the development of “sawtoothed” loading docks.  This feature has proven to be popular with customers.  The lease to a call center required the conversion of 40,000 s.f. into open office areas.  Tilt-up construction allowed large window openings to be cut into walls to introduce light to the office areas.  This fit-up required 180 tons of air conditioning, 800 pairs of voice/data communication cables and accommodations for 400 employees.

Design and construction of this 85,000 s.f. project, including the fit-up for the call center, was completed in 120 days.
